Mission: Wild Adventure at Sandford School - 29 July to 8 August
Enrol your children on a unique holiday club experience. Activities include a pirate treasure hunt, hands-on robot building, water fun and wilderness survival skills. Primary Sports & Education Camps at Landscore Primary School 24 July to 14 August
These offer a huge variety of activities daily from 8am to 5.30pm, for all children aged 5-12. Your child can enjoy Glow in the Dark Dodgeball, Nerf gun battles, Football, Laser Tag, Hockey, Summer Arts and Crafts, Water Battles, Capture the Flag, Lego, Board and Card Games,Tennis, a Summer Disco, Balloon and Magic Show, Archery Tag, Inflatables, Dodgeball, Dance, Cricket, and more! Crediton Heart Creative Workshops - 8 to 17 August
A series of fun workshops for all ages, held at Crediton Arts Centre, including pottery, collage, puppet, mask and jewellery making. Parents and carers are very welcome to join in. Just £3 for under 16s, £5 for over 16s. The workshops are part of the Crediton Heart Summer Arts Festival, including live music and film events, culminating in Arts in the Park on 17 August, a day of free creative fun, including drumming, circus skills and craft workshops, a craft fair and street theatre in Newcombes Meadow. Bang Bang Boxing Summer Camp - 29 July to 30 August
This amazing provision, funded by Crediton Town Council, is free to young people between the ages of 8 and 16. It includes various fitness, knowledge and technical based mini classes throughout the day. It will allow all participants to gain a full insight into the world of boxing and the many, many benefits it can bring to not only the individual but the community as a whole. Creddy Club at Crediton Rugby Club - 30 & 31 July, 13, 14, 28 & 29 August
If your kids crave action-packed fun while improving their sports and teamworking skills, then look no further than Creddy Club. Empowering Creativity for 11- 16 year olds - 31 July - 30 August
Thirteen days of outdoor activities aimed at secondary school students. Each day will include outdoor cooking, art-making, music creation and outdoor exploration. Activities will feature flower pounding, rock painting, mask and puppet making, fabric decorating, creating articulated wings for a giant dragon sculpture, and 3D decorated letters.
Jointly coordinated by Significant Seams, The Turning Tides Project, Devon Art Tuition, and Sustainable Crediton's Community Larder, participants will meet at the Crediton Station Tea Rooms and walk to the Turning Tides Woodland Community Garden. Crediton Congregational Church Holiday Club - 14 to 16 August
Run with Churches Together, the club offers three mornings packed with games, crafts and a variety of activities for 5-11 year olds, plus lunch - all for just £2 per morning (from 10am to 1pm). Reserve your spot online and pay at the entrance.
Paint Pots Summer Workshops - 12, 19, 6 & 30 August
Summer holiday kids workshops are now available to book at Paint Pots of Devon on Crediton High Street. They include a slime making workshop (12 August), tie dye and painting workshop (19 August) and clay workshop (6 & 30 August). These are drop-off sessions. Hunterswood Riding School Pony Club in Yeoford- 22 July to 2 September
Join Hunterswood Riding School for a summer filled with exciting activities. They have pony workshops available throughout the holidays, 10.30am to 3.30pm. Activities include pony grooming, washing and riding, dressage, show days and rosettes for all. Open to beginners and intermediate riders, aged 4 to 14. Guitar Workshops at the White Room - 1, 8, 15 & 22 August
Sam Green, a talented musician and guitar instructor, will be hosting guitar workshops for ages 7-16 at The White Room Creative Space in Crediton. Over 4 weeks (1, 8, 15 & 22 August) at 10.30-11.30 or 11.45-12.45. £15 per session or £55 for all four. Sports Summer Camps at Bow, Hatherleigh and Bridestowe Primary Schools
Football, Soft ball and Multi-Skills summer camps are happening at local schools over the summer. Each camp is 9am-3pm, (registration opens 8.45 am) and just £15 for the day. All 5-14 year olds welcome. Camps are: Football at Bow Primary School on 29, 30 July, 8, 14, 21 and 28 August. Multi Skills at Hatherleigh Primary School on 2, 16 and 30 August.
