Dinnertime is a new monthly supper club for Crediton, hosted by the Elephant on the Green café. Starting on 14 September, it will serve a delicious three course meal, made from local seasonal produce, as chef Patrick Seller explains.
I started cooking as a child and over the years I have developed meals and menus. When not working as a teacher in a local primary school or spending time with my wife and young family, I spend a large amount of my time cooking, eating and thinking about food!
I love cooking for people and for a long time my family and friends have encouraged me to share my food wider than just our dining table. So: here goes!
With Dinnertime Supper Club we plan to showcase the wonderful local produce that we are lucky enough to have in this beautiful area of the country.
The first meal will be at 6.30 pm on Saturday 14th September at the Elephant on the Green, with the following menu:
Starter - Devon Porcini Pasta;
Main - Creedy Carver Duck
Dessert - Plum Tart
The cost is £39 per person, which includes a cocktail on arrival. Wine is available to buy by the bottle on the night.
