Here Tom Davies describes a 3.5 mile walk which starts and finishes at the entrance to Moor Farm in Shobrooke.
Start at the entrance lane to Moor Farm (A) walking north through the farm to gate (B) from where a pedestrian gate across the field on your right will be visible.
Pass through this gate and follow the footpath signs to the lane at (C).
Turn right along the lane past Lower Combe Cottages uphill to a farm gate and footpath sign at (D).
Take the path along the field edge and follow the signs to (E) (the Shobrooke to Thorverton road) and cross directly into a lane leading to Pennicot Farm to a sharp corner (F) where there is a footpath sign on the right.
Take the path to (G) where it meets the Devon Heartland Way and take a right turn back to Shobrooke.
