This month, we’re diving into still life art! Gather three to five everyday objects and create an artwork by observing their shapes, shadows, and textures. You can use any medium—pencil, paint, or even digital tools. Experiment with lighting to see how it transforms your composition. This is your chance to explore classic art techniques and make them your own!

What the Challenge Is

Use everyday objects like fruit, books, or toys to create a still-life artwork. Focus on light, shadow, and composition.

How It Works

Children are encouraged to arrange objects in an interesting way, use their favourite art medium to create their piece, and submit their work online. Parents and teachers can support by discussing famous still-life works for inspiration.

How It Is Judged

Entries will be judged on creativity, use of light and shadow, and overall composition.
